The World’s Most Expensive Tea Bag

During the past few weeks, I truly felt naf in searching some news interesting and exciting enough for the blog. So although I write about fashion, the other blogs is always doing better than me. Since I started to write something luxurious or expensive, I hope I could bring you a new air.
The year 2005 has passed for a long time, but there is a thing worthy of my time to look back and my words to describe. Why? Because in 2005 the world’s most expensive teabag had been created! So although this teabag was made to celebrate PG Tips 75th Birthday, it is still worth a look. By the way, PG Tips is a British tea company.
Can you believe it? the tea bag costs over £7500 (or $14,000 at today prices), safe credit to the world’s most expensive tea bag. Boodles jewelers created this stunning tea bag and it only took about three months to create and used 280 diamonds, which were all handcrafted. However, the most fabulous thing is this tea bag is used to raise money for a children’s charity in Manchester, England. How merciful the British are!!!!
“As it’s our 75th birthday, we wanted to do something special to remind people just how much they love the great British cup of tea.”, stated Pete Harbour, spokesman for PG Tips. Yep, he really has done something special but what a joke! Don’t you know the diamonds can save how many children?
It is also said that the interior is filled with regular PG Tips tea, so I couldn’t help wondering if they would produce more and try to sell them or just enjoy one cup of very expensive tea and then toss the tea bag.
